This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect Personal Data when you visit our website, contact us or use our HR Consulting & Career Development Services.

This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the applicable Cyprus data protection legislation, including Law 125(I)/2018.

Depending on how you interact with SkillBridge and the service you request, we may collect:

  • Enquiry and Communication Data: information submitted through our website forms or provided during consultations and communications.

  • Professional Data: such as your CV, employment history, education, skills, professional experience, career objectives and information relevant to the requested service.

  • Service Data: information created or provided during assessments, coaching, education programs and other Career Development Services.

  • Photographic Data: a photograph voluntarily provided for inclusion in a CV.

  • Payment Data: information relating to payments, bank-transfer confirmations and invoices.

  • Marketing Data: your preferences regarding promotional communications.

  • Technical Data: information collected through cookies and similar website technologies, such as IP address, browser, device and website-usage information.
     

Where required for a service, relevant information and documents may be requested through an agreed communication method.
 

4. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect Personal Data:

  • through email, telephone, WhatsApp, video calls or social media;

  • during consultations and service delivery;

  • through documents and information you provide;

  • from a business client where SkillBridge provides HR Consulting Services.
     

Consultations, coaching sessions, assessments and lessons are not recorded. Participants may not record them without prior written authorization from SkillBridge.

  • arrange consultations;

  • assess your service requirements;

  • provide and personalize our services;

  • communicate with you;

  • prepare and deliver service materials;

  • maintain appropriate service records;

6. HR Consulting Services

When providing HR Consulting Services, SkillBridge may process limited business and employee information on behalf of the business client, as governed by the applicable agreement.

In these circumstances, the business client normally acts as Data Controller and is responsible for providing the required privacy information to its employees. SkillBridge acts as Data Processor and processes information only as necessary to provide the agreed service and according to the client’s documented instructions.
 

SkillBridge does not use employee information received through HR Consulting Services for its own marketing or unrelated purposes.
 

7. Sharing Personal Data

We may share Personal Data with trusted third parties where necessary, including:

  • providers supporting our website, communications, cloud storage and service delivery;

  • tutors or other professionals involved in providing an agreed service;

  • banks and payment providers;

  • accountants, legal advisers and other professional advisers;

  • public authorities or regulators where required by law.
     

Third parties receiving Personal Data are required to protect it and use it only for the relevant authorized purpose.

SkillBridge does not sell or rent Personal Data and does not provide it to other companies for their independent marketing.

SkillBridge does not send Career Development clients’ CVs or professional profiles to employers or recruiters.
 

8. International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process or store Personal Data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area.

Where required, SkillBridge will rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.
 

9. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.
 

Our general retention periods are:

  • enquiries that do not result in a service: up to 12 months;

  • Career Development service records: up to 24 months after completion of the service;

  • marketing contact information: until consent is withdrawn or for up to 24 months from the most recent consent or interaction;

  • payment and accounting records: for the period required under applicable Cyprus law.
     

Where appropriate, we may request your confirmation before retaining Career Development information beyond 24 months. Where confirmation is not provided, the information will be deleted or anonymized unless continued retention is legally required.

Information processed on behalf of a business client in connection with HR Consulting Services is retained in accordance with the applicable agreement and the client’s instructions.
 

10. Marketing Communications

Where you have provided consent, SkillBridge may contact you by email, telephone or WhatsApp regarding services, updates, discounts or promotional offers.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting info@skillbridgeservices.com using the subject line “Data Protection.”

Withdrawing marketing consent will not affect communications necessary to provide a service you have requested.
 

11. Data Security

SkillBridge applies appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

Access to Personal Data is limited to individuals and service providers who require it for an authorized purpose and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Although we take reasonable steps to protect Personal Data, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Subject to the conditions established under applicable law, you may have the right to:
